EKKI held its 2025 General Assembly, online, on December 4. The partners reflected on the agency's trajectory and considered it a milestone to have connected the EKKI repertoire to the CIS-Net network.
Obtaining international codes, registering and modifying works, controlling authorship percentages... all this can now be done quickly and conveniently on the member portal hosted on the EKKI website.

This will allow, in 2026, the works of Basque creators to be able to obtain the corresponding collection from internet platforms and service providers around the world.
EKKI calculates that the 25% increase in collection in the 2024-2025 period will be added by another 15% in the 2025-2026 period.
However, the members also spoke of the need not to forget future challenges and to respond to historical shortcomings. In the coming months, EKKI will focus on, among others, the following tasks:
